And at the Seventh Buddhist Summit, the supreme Buddhist leaders from 47 countries in the world unanimously resolved to promote International Buddhist Day as the common festive day for all Buddhists in the world, wishing for world peace and happiness of mankind.
On April 8, International Buddhist Day, people in various parts of the world wholeheartedly worship the statue of newborn Buddha on the elephant with 6 tusks by putting their hands together.
The supreme Buddhist leaders across the 5 continents in the world, Royal Families and national leaders who support Buddhism will assemble to discuss the future of Buddhism and take a vow for the further propagation of Buddhism.
